In Bethany, I see a woman consistently pursuing a daily walk with God, the truth of God’s word, relationship with others and have been challenged to do the same myself. I see a woman actively investing time, energy and resources in others. Bethany is encouraging, transparent, a good listener, a creative thinker, actively seeks education to better equip herself to the ministry God has called her, that is ministering to women and sharing her story. I see a woman willing to step up, out of her comfort zone. A woman willing to write and tell her story so that others might begin to look at their story, no matter how painful, and begin telling their story in order for God to begin their healing.

I have been coming to know Christ more every day. I am learning to accept God’s love and escape from the eternal bondage of death, or separation from God, in order to gain entrance to life in Christ here and now. Journeying with Bethany, in her blog and in community of the Church has helped me as I still struggle through this world. I am thankful for Gods mercy and love and know I will continue to struggle when I use my old ways of seeing and not through His eyes. Bethany’s wisdom and honesty in her blog and speaking into my life and others has helped remind me of who I am in Him and how to continue to pursue God and not the praises of men. I have known Bethany for almost two years. I remember first meeting her, she was so quiet, not the case since the Lord has told her to speak. Through the years I’ve gotten to know her better, I consider her a friend. I have always had a wall and been very protective of myself. It is hard for me to allow people to get to know me on an intimate level. I feel that she is one of the few people that have broken through that wall. Bethany and I have done a couple bible studies together and through that time I feel that she is someone that I can rely on. It is truly inspirational to see the Lord work through his people. She has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and grow in my faith and use my God given talents and abilities.
